There is no limit to how many products can be added, though code optimization would be needed if products are in excess of 100. The default payment gateway ready to use with your new website is PayPal but online merchant gateways (e.g. Authorize.net, Elavon, etc.) for accepting credit cards on the site is possible. Onsite credit card processing requires a Secure Certificate (SSL) to encrypt customer information.
